Professor Krzysztof Zuba is a Head of the European Studies Chair and a Head of the Political Sciences Doctoral Programme. In 2012 he was decorated by the President of the Republic of Poland with the Knight’s Cross of the Order of the Restitution of Poland for his contribution to research into the most recent history of Poland. Editor-in-Chief of “ETE Working Papers”. The author of about 100 scholarly publications.

Research interests:

• politics in Poland (in particular the relationships between the state and the Church)
• the theory of politics (in particular political leadership, political elites, bureaucracy)
• europeanisation (the attitudes of national states’ political parties and societies towards the process of European integration)
• the European policy of the United Kingdom
