Ágnes Erőss jest absolwentką historii i geografii na Uniwersytecie Eötvösa Loránda w Budapeszcie. Tam obroniła również pracę doktorską (2018) z zakresu geografii społecznej. Specjalizuje się w geografii politycznej i etnicznej. W Instytucie zatrudniona jest na stanowisku badawczym, w ramach grantu Narodowego Centrum Nauki “Analiza współpracy transgranicznej w państwach Grupy Wyszehradzkiej (V4)“.
